Indiana Engineering Grant

Overview

The Indiana Engineering Grant for Out-of-State Graduates is designed to encourage engineers to become qualified leaders in their sectors here in Indiana. This $7,000 grant is awarded to the recipient following the completion of six months of full-time employment in an engineering-related field within the state of Indiana.  A minimum of two grants are awarded to graduates from 29 public and private institutions in Indiana offering engineering programs.

This grant is administered by Independent Colleges of Indiana (ICI) and Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC). All funds are paid directly to the recipient following the employment verification process.

Eligible graduates wishing to participate in the program must complete program enrollment documentation, including authorization for ICI to contact the graduate’s employer to verify employment. The grant recipient will bear all tax implications of the award.
